Our facility

We are transforming a former Heineken brewery in a state-of-the-art fermentation facility. This strategic acquisiton allowed us to give new life to a structure with a rich tradition of fermentation, both by repurposing the existing equipment and installing new production lines.

With separated production lines, we ensure optimal flexibility and safety, allowing us to produce a diverse range of products without risk of cross-contamination.

Strain Engineering

Through Evolutia Bio, Mycofeast is an R&D team at the lab in San Carlos, California, with advanced capabilities in conventional and transgenic strain engineering.

The team combines hands-on microbial engineering with computational biology expertise to design, optimize, and improve production strains for fermentation-derived ingredients.

This gives Mycofeast a direct link between discovery, strain development, and industrial scale-up, helping ensure our biology is built not only to work in the lab, but to perform economically at commercial scale.
